During a hot summer siesta in Entre RĂ­os, Malena terrifies her younger brother Santiago, with a legend in which children are watched over by pigeons and captured by a hideous monster if they don't nap. Bored of doing nothing, Malena goes out to the nearby bush with her cell phone to look for the internet, without imagining the consequences that a simple walk in the sun can unleash.
